Shadow is our new range of double width, coated blockout curtain fabric.
Block out curtains, as the name suggests, are self lined that are designed to block out the light when they are fully drawn. They are made from a heavy, woven fabric.
While Shadow is best used for blocking light, it also provides good acoustic and temperature properties. This allows for more cozy, quiet spaces. Use blackout curtains or blinds in bright sunny rooms, and be sure to close them during the hottest parts of the day in order to keep the room cool. This type of curtain fabric also works well in areas such as home theatres.
